Hiya! :D I've never posted here before, but uh ... I come bearing gifts? Have a Crisis Core/Last Order Zack/Cloud action vid. =D

There is an odd complication in that Youtube has flagged the video for copyright and muted the sound onsite ...but the sound can still clearly be heard on the embedded video player. ::blinks:: This is probably subject to change without notice, which is why I'm spamming various communities now. However, I've already uploaded the video on a back-up site and will provide the link underneath the Youtube one in case the sound vanishes at some point. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy!

Uh, and also ...apologies to people on multiple communities that just got spammed to death. >_>

Audio book goodness

Wheee I just finished listening to the torchwood audio book, Sin Eaters. Which is read by Gareth David-Lloyd aka Ianto in the series. I REALLY enjoyed it. Good story, nice Janto momemts. I was really impressed by Gareth's reading though. He did it very well, he has a very nice voice to listen too. Also his range was good, I loved hearing him do Jack in an american accent. At some points it really does sound like him. Makes me want to write to him to say how much I enjoyed it, I might later just for fun. This was the first torchwood audio book I actually bought and listened to all the way. I own some doctor who ones, where Catherine tate (aka Donna) and David Tennant read and enjoyed them a lot. Again the funnest parts are hearing them be each other in the books lols. Another new audio book is in the shadows, read by Eve Myles....... set before Torchwood 2 ended. Dunno if I will get it. I don't hate Gwen.....just dunno how much Janto it will have hehe.

Waiting for three torchwood books and an comic to come. Looking forward to those, I really enjoy stories with just Jack, Ianto and Gwen! Same series three was so short........ I like it cause the three work together and with less characters, more time for Janto goodness. Then 3 more books in october yay!

In other news, things are going well. I got my Breakaway and he's doing good. Haven't decided on him yet. But I really do not want to try to sell or trade him or anything right now. So fed up with it, trading one after another so no. He'll stick around, I just need to get him some of his own stuff. His name still is Aubrey and he's an attractive thing. Just ugh the type 3 body is not fun. Yarris who is a type 1 poses better........ and the neck mechanism! I dunno if it's just how he's strung or what. But it keeps snapping down and being pulled off centre......I hate it yar! Hopefully I can figure out what the heck is wrong with it soon!

My lolita blouse came, it fits but it a little snug.......grrrr.....but thank god when I wear it with my jumper dresses. It fits fine and you can't tell the snugness so it's not a full loss. Phew. Also got the dollheart outfit and I like it a lot, Yarris has stolen the corset of course.

A fun weakend ahead, dollmeet on granville island on sat, richmond fun on sun woo! I got a few things for my new place for when I move in sept. Got a table, lamp etc, I just need a dresser and chairs for sure before the move. The rest can wait till I got the cash.

One Gallon


I donated blood today~ And I got my first One Gallon pin! I've given one gallon of blood since I turned 18~! I'm kinda proud of myself, you know? It only took six years- haha. I donated my one pint today, got my one gallon pin (eight pints in a gallon), went by Swansons to see if they had any Cherry Trees, came home, and went to sleep *laughs*

Thank you all who voted on my poll~ Very helpful indeed. Now I just have to get his old faceup off of him. Hmmm... I cannot remember if it was sealed or not- hmm hmm! My problem is I cannot really remember how to take an old faceup off without damaging the resin underneath. D: (The old faceup is with water color pencils and pastels~)

So I ordered a compressions shirt for my Shy Guy costume. Placed the order on Saturday. on TUESDAY, I find a message saying that they tried to deliver it. It shipped up to Alberta from FLORIDA. I expected it to take at least 2 weeks if not more. HOLY SH*T *impressed*

it's a bit of a struggle getting it on and off, and it's riding up on my lower back, but OMG WOW does it work well!

In order to help restore life to our little community I was thinking we could all do something together.
That's right. A meet-up. I haven't seen one of these happen in a looong time.

I'm thinking about holding it in Calgary just because it's pretty central and there's quite a bit we can do. (and I don't know anything about Edmonton. xD)

Heritage Park? Picnic somewhere near downtown? Multi-Day?
What do you guys want.

I'm thinking we could have a weekend meet-up where we go to Heritage Park one day for candy and old time photos and then on the 2nd day take a trip down town sight seeing or something for those coming from out of town. (Although I know a 2 day thing won't work for a lot of people...just my two cents.)

Tell me what you want and I'll set things up~

Grape Leaves in the Sun


We were worried that our grape died over the winter and were very pleased indeed to see buds on it again. I love that old thing even if the grapes that grow on it are not the kind you can eat. It covers half of the west side of our house *laughs* And this picture was taken while looking out of our pantry window at it.... the pantry window that the last thieves broke and climbed through. I still don't see how they were able to climb onto our old fence without it falling down under them. =\
